A fundraising event organized with Rotaract clubs to support the Zgharta Social Movement Dispensary and help provide essential cardiac screening equipment.
What we did
The Cheese & Wine Bingo Night 2.0 was organized by the Rotaract Clubs of Zgharta Zawie, Sahel Metn, and Byblos as a fundraising event in support of the Zgharta Social Movement Dispensary, which provides affordable healthcare services to people in need. The evening took place at Maximus Hotel and brought together members and guests for a night of food, games, and fellowship. A buffet featuring cheese, charcuterie, salads, bread, fruits, and pasta was served alongside a selection of wines, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. The highlight of the night was the bingo game, where participants competed for prizes generously donated by sponsors. A tombola raffle added even more excitement and opportunities to win gifts. Through the event, $929 was raised, which was directed toward purchasing a cardiac ECG machine and its equipment for the dispensary. This contribution will help the center provide essential heart screenings and improve access to healthcare for patients in the community. Beyond the fundraising aspect, the event strengthened collaboration between the participating Rotaract clubs and brought members of the community together for a meaningful cause.
