A collaborative visit to the Billy Karam Museum where Rotaractors explored automotive history while strengthening connections between clubs.
What we did
On February 1, 2025, the Rotaract Clubs of Zgharta Zawie, Byblos, and Beirut Millennium came together for a unique visit to the Billy Karam Museum. The day began with a welcome from Billy Karam, who shared stories from his career and his Guinness World Record achievements before guiding us through the museum. The two-story museum features numerous rooms filled with diecast cars, rare collectibles, and detailed dioramas that showcase the history of motorsports and automotive culture. After the tour, we presented Billy with a medal as a token of appreciation. In a memorable moment, he even offered one of our members a ride in his Porsche 996 GT2, creating an exciting highlight for the day. The event continued with lunch in Kaslik, followed by a spontaneous karting race, bringing out everyone’s competitive spirit and perfectly ending a day filled with learning, fun, and fellowship between clubs.
