An international online event where Rotaractors studying abroad shared their experiences to help students better understand life and education overseas.
What we did
EduPort was an international initiative organized by Rotaract clubs to support students interested in studying abroad. The event brought together Rotaractors currently studying or working in different countries to share their real-life experiences. Held online over two days, the sessions covered topics such as adapting to new cultures, dealing with homesickness, managing academic pressure, and building a life in a new country. Participants were able to ask questions and learn directly from students who had already gone through the experience. The project was a collaborative effort between several Rotaract clubs, including RC Nozha United and RC Zgharta Zawie, and was organized entirely by volunteers. Despite having no budget, the initiative successfully connected students with valuable insights and strengthened international relationships between clubs.
